A couple of weekends ago I had the opportunity to join the Bite And Booze team for the Hammond Smokin' Blues & BBQ Challenge. We were sponsored by Calandro's Supermarket, with additional help from Kicker's BBQ, Red Stick Spice Company, Jeremy of Faire Les Courses, and Third Row Tailgaters. We might have been a little disappointed at the results, but the BBQ was still delicious and I had a great time. And one of the best things about having Calandro's on board, was that we had several new craft beers on hand to try out while we were cooking!
